Depuis le début des années 2000, Dany Placard multiplie les albums solos et les collaborations. Avec ses textes sensibles et ses mélodies folk accrocheuses, l’artiste originaire de Saguenay devient rapidement un incontournable de la scène musicale québécoise. Avec ses propositions toutes chaudement accueillis par la critique et le public au fil du temps, Placard arrive à façonner un univers bien à lui, où la poésie du quotidien s’entrelace aux rythmes bruts. Après avoir exploré les sons psych avec le récent J’connais rien à l’astronomie (2020), il lance en duo avec Julie Doiron l’album éponyme Julie et Dany (2022). La guitare toujours près de lui, il retrouve maintenant ses premiers amours pour le folk avec une nouvelle proposition empreinte de sensibilité, inspirée par la perte de sa meilleure amie, sa chienne Stormy. Une collection de pièces qu’on pourra entendre le 27 septembre 2024 sous Costume Records.Selon le nombre de billets vendus, le spectacle pourrait être proposé en formule debout, avec uniquement une quarantaine de places assises disponibles sur les balcons.
