Les rythmes entraînants de l’Afrique du Sud s’arrêtent à la Place des Arts pour une toute première fois. Une visite longuement espérée et attendue de Step Afrika! et de son mythique step dancing.

Mondialement reconnue pour ses danses percussives et son mélange des sonorités africaines, Step Afrika! s’est produite dans pas moins de 60 pays depuis sa création en 1994. Comptant 18 artistes à temps plein, la troupe utilise la scène comme un moyen d’expression combinant chansons, récits et humours à des danses rythmées. Elle présente des spectacles participatifs à travers lesquels le public est invité à se lever de son siège pour laisser bouger son corps au rythme des percussions.

Les représentations sont bien plus qu’un simple spectacle; elles sont des expériences vibrantes et rassembleuses partout où elles s’arrêtent!
