Une épopée qui vous fait voyager jusqu’au Japon en compagnie du collectif Kodo. La suite tant attendue de Tsuzumi s’arrêtera enfin à Montréal en 2025!

Une prestation rythmée des tambours, digne représentation du terme japonais Kodo, qui se traduit littéralement par « battement de cœur ». Cette nouvelle œuvre, nommée Warabe, se tourne maintenant vers un répertoire musical classique inspiré des histoires japonaises. Le numéro d’ouverture se veut d’ailleurs un clin d’œil à une forme d’art nommé Shishi, ou danse du cerf, dans la plus pure tradition de ce peuple. Un mélange simple des multiples expressions sonores du taiko et de ses vibrations, évoquant une vaste gamme d’émotions pour les publics. Des sons et des résonances uniques, qu’on dit pouvoir faire vibrer jusqu’à l’âme d’une personne.
