Roman Zavada installe un véritable laboratoire de piano en forêt. Au fil des saisons, les sonorités subissent une métamorphose et inspirent l'essence d'une nouvelle aventure musicale riche et singulière. Un lien se noue entre le passé et le présent, entre la nature et la modernité. Zavada se révèle et nous plonge directement dans un univers fascinant, remontant ainsi le temps jusqu'aux premiers enregistrements-cassettes de son enfance.

Le pianiste-compositeur d'origine ukrainienne et québécoise cumule déjà 20 ans d'expérience en tant qu'artiste indépendant. Il se distingue par ses démarches artistiques atypiques, notamment avec le projet Résonances Boréales. Installé avec un piano au cœur de la forêt boréale du Grand Nord canadien, il a puisé son inspiration dans le mouvement des légendaires aurores boréales. Ce projet lui a valu une nomination au gala de l'ADISQ en 2016.
