Featuring members of the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra
World-class concert harpist Caroline Léonardelli and exceptional flute musician Pascale Margely join forces for this very special afternoon performance.
Caroline is a concert harpist and recording artist. She is a renowned soloist, chamber musician, and teacher. Caroline’s solo recording El Dorado received a JUNO Award nomination in the category of Classical Album of the Year solo or small ensemble. Her second solo recording, Impressions de France, has been selected by Apple Music editors for their feature worldwide on the instrument featuring ten harpists. Caroline’s Serenata has received exceptional critical acclaim with her music being played on radio stations around the world.
Alongside being a professor of flute at the Conservatoire de musique de Gatineau since 1997, Pascale is also a dedicated freelance musician, soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral musician with ensembles as well as for events in the Ottawa area such as the Music and Beyond Festival, Thirteen Strings, Chamberfest, the Ottawa Valley Music Festival, the Ottawa Choral Society, Pellegrini Opera, and Doors Open for Music at Southminster.

La harpiste de réputation internationale Caroline Léonardelli et la flûtiste d’exception Pascale Margely unissent leurs talents pour ce récital d’après-midi tout particulier.
Aussi à l’aise sur scène qu’en studio d’enregistrement, la harpiste Caroline Léonardelli est une soliste, chambriste et pédagogue de renom. Son enregistrement solo El Dorado lui a valu une nomination aux prix JUNO pour le meilleur album classique de l’année, catégorie solo et petit ensemble. Son deuxième album solo, intitulé Impressions de France, a été choisi par Apple Music comme l’un des dix meilleurs enregistrements de harpe au monde dans le cadre de sa chronique consacrée à cet instrument. Son album Serenata a été acclamé par la critique et ses interprétations sont diffusées sur les radios du monde entier.
Professeure de flûte au Conservatoire de musique de Gatineau depuis 1997, Pascale Margely est également musicienne indépendante, soliste, chambriste et d’orchestre passionnée. Elle s’est produite avec des ensembles de la région d’Ottawa et dans le cadre d’événements locaux comme le Festival Musique et Autres Mondes, l’orchestre de chambre Thirteen Strings, le Chamberfest, l’Ottawa Valley Music Festival, la Société chorale d’Ottawa, le Pellegrini Opera et la série de concerts Doors Open for Music at Southminster.
