Élyse A. Héroux fait carrière dans le milieu du livre depuis vingt ans comme éditrice, coautrice, rédactrice et réviseure linguistique. Au fil des années, elle a collaboré à des centaines d'ouvrages, dans le jeunesse et l'adulte, dans l'essai comme dans la fiction (elle a notamment rédigé la biographie de l'ancienne première ministre du Québec, Pauline Marois).
