Charismatic tap dance legend Travis Knights takes on Mars! Four musicians, two singers, and five dazzling dancers defy gravity at a furious pace. He has rhythm in his body and the passion of his ancestors in his blood. Trained in Montréal from the age of 10 by Ethel Bruneau, “Miss Swing” herself, Travis Knights has been combining his art with other disciplines ever since: film, theatre, circus and music. Tap, one of North America’s oldest dance forms, is tattooed on his heart and a source of wonder and infinite possibilities. Set the controls for the Red Planet, the backdrop for his most ambitious show, with an international cast featuring some of the finest tap dance artists. A synergistic fusion of singing, music and movement carries us away. A dance concert with an irresistible force of attraction; absolutely fantastic!

Le charismatique Travis Knights, légende du tap dance, à la conquête de Mars ! Quatre musiciens live, deux chanteur·euse et cinq danseur·euse·s époustouflant·e·s défient la gravité à une cadence endiablée. Il a le rythme chevillé au corps et la passion de ses ancêtres qui coule dans les veines. Formé à Montréal dès l’âge de 10 ans par Ethel Bruneau, « Miss Swing » elle-même, Travis Knights n’a cessé depuis de croiser son art avec différentes disciplines, le cinéma, le théâtre, le cirque et la musique. Tatoué sur son cœur, le tap dance, l’une des plus anciennes formes de danse en Amérique du Nord, est pour lui une source d’émerveillement aux possibilités infinies. Cap sur la planète rouge où il a imaginé son spectacle le plus ambitieux, avec une distribution internationale rassemblant des artistes de tap dance émérites. En étroite synergie, chant, musique et mouvement nous emportent. Un concert de danse d’une force d’attraction irrésistible, tout simplement fabuleux !
