Tarif étudiant disponible Second Chances, le nouveau spectacle de répertoire de RUBBERBAND comprend Commissions Suite, une reconstruction de deux œuvres chorégraphiées à l’origine par Victor Quijada pour Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (Physikal Linguistiks) et le Scottish Dance Theater (Second Coming). Une bande sonore de Jasper Gahunia fournit le paysage tandis que sept interprètes naviguent dans le chaos. Décalé, frais et plein d’esprit, Commissions Suite contient des échantillons classiques, des paysages sonores caverneux et des surprises alors que Victor Quijada emmène la danse urbaine vers un nouveau territoire théâtral. Outre Commissions Suite, il y a des extraits de Trenzado qui s’inspire de l’expérience que Quijada a vécu à Los Angeles en tant que Mexicain-Américain de première génération.
