C’est un documentaire choral qui raconte le pays à travers un des rituels les plus emblématiques du Québec. C’est un hymne au sirop d’érable et au peuple qui le produit. Dans la lumière franche et inspirante du printemps, une goutte de sève perle sur la pointe du chalumeau. Les deux poètes la cueillent et filent la métaphore. La tradition des sucriers prend l’allure de vibrants tableaux. La richesse des mots d’ici et la puissance des gestes simples laissent entrevoir la beauté et la fragilité de notre culture.
