A piano virtuoso with groove power, Hamasyan seamlessly fuses potent jazz improvisation and progressive rock with the rich folkloric music of his native Armenia. For The Bird Of A Thousand Voices, Hamasyan brings his latest genre-smashing project. Taking inspiration from his own childhood, the visionary artist takes the Armenian folk tale of Hazaran Blbul—the mythical bird that travels around the world to spread harmony—and weaves a story set to his signature blend of ingenious improvisations, galvanizing rock, and haunting melodies.
