Join the Viper Central band, Métis jigger Jeanette Kotowich, and additional guests on a journey through old-time string tunes and songs from Canada’s musical heritage. Influenced by the traditions of bluegrass, fiddle, and country, Viper Central can rip it up with sweet n’ crunchy harmonies and tight melodic breaks that’ll make your heart soar, your feet shuffle and your blood curdle. Keeping in step, Jeanette brings her knee slapping, high energy Métis jigging. With colourful stories, captivating dance, and lively music, this hour-long show will be a guaranteed blast. Pre-concert activity: Learn the basics of jigging and some of its history at our workshop led by Jeanette Kotowich. Members of Viper Central will provide instrumental accompaniment.
