Une performance entre théâtre et danse où l’interprète Chi Long se dévoile à travers des fragments d’histoires vécues ou fabulées pour mieux questionner l’identité québécoise face aux grands enjeux migratoires. Comment nos identités se construisent-elles? À quelle mémoire peut-on se fier? Quels rapports entretenir avec des territoires physiques ou imaginaires? She and the other(s) flirte avec l’ambivalence, avec une intention de brouiller les pistes en faisant se chevaucher époques et personnages. Dans cet espace de dénuement, le legs générationnel se confond avec l’art du camouflage et le corps porteur des traumatismes du passé devient un territoire intemporel et mouvant, tantôt magnifié, tantôt meurtri. Malgré l’intensité du propos, la pièce d’Élodie Lombardo est à l’image de son interprète, fraîche, surprenante et déroutante. Elle nous invite à la fois à nous repenser individuellement et à nous redéfinir en tant que société à travers le prisme de nos histoires personnelles et de nos traumatismes collectifs.
