Experience a journey of growth in dance by passing down culture to new generations and building a supportive community.<br><br>The Serbian Cultural Society Frula presents our year-end concert “Више од Игре” (More than Dance) at the Martha Cohen Theatre, on June 22, 2024!<br><br>This year’s season has been incredible, we have learned new choreographies, acquired new costumes and developed our 5 wonderful groups even more! So, join us in celebrating a successful season with a variety of performances, stunning traditional choreographies and vibrant costumes from various regions.<br><br>The Serbian Cultural Society Frula is a non-profit performing arts organization established in 2008 with the goal to preserve and share Serbian culture through song and dance. Since then, Frula's members have been privileged to showcase this culture throughout Canada, the United States, and Serbia through traditional dance and song performances. This form of art is an expression of Serbian heritage, and is considered a very important part of Serbian culture - shared and passed down for centuries from one generation to another. Many of Frula's performances portray life in various Serbian populated regions and tell a story of the history of Serbs.
