<p>Enjoy the classic soundtrack of Charlie Brown’s Christmas performed live in the intimate setting of the Engineered Air Theatre. Complete with a charming children’s choir from Montessori School of Calgary performing in the 5:30pm performance and singers from the Youth Singers of Calgary 'Kids &amp; Music' program at 7:30pm. Christmas songs and original compositions by Vince Guaraldi will lift your spirits for the holiday season.<br><br>Make this family friendly concert a new tradition and experience the joy of live music. Music includes favourites Linus and Lucy, Christmas Time is Here and The Little Drummer Boy. Performed by local musicians Claire Butler on piano, Kodi Hutchinson on bass and Jim Johnston on drums, this trio will bring their combined talents to make this a special treat for you and your loved ones.<br><br>Claire Butler on piano is from the North-East of England and studied at the Royal College of Music UK. Claire has enjoyed a career as a professional pianist and violinist in England, Greece and Bermuda. Since moving to Calgary, Claire has enjoyed a varied career working as performer, educator and director with Calgary Girls Choir, Calgary Boys Choir, Cum Vino Cantus, Silver Stars Musical Revue and St Andrew’s Anglican Church. Currently, Claire is music specialist at Montessori School of Calgary, has a private teaching studio, gives workshops on early childhood music education and leads Clicquot Trio jazz ensemble.<br><br>Kodi Hutchinson is one of the most active musicians in Western Canada and a man who wears many hats. As well as running his own musical group the Hutchinson Andrew Trio, CKUA radio show "A Time For Jazz", and boutique record label Chronograph Records, Kodi is a sought-after sideman on both double bass and electric bass. He currently serves as the Artistic Director for JazzYYC in Calgary, Canada, producing multiple yearly jazz festivals and is also the founder and Executive Director of the Canadian National Jazz Orchestra and the Canadian Online Jazz Festival (COJAZZ).<br><br>Drummer Jim Johnston is one of Alberta’s sought after musicians. His education from Humber College’s performance program, studying with some of the world’s premier jazz musicians at the Banff Centre and privately with drummers of all genres across North America allows him the opportunity to relish in a diverse performance life.
