About this show Four seasoned musicians from Lévis, each with their own musical universe and all die-hard Neil Young fans, decided to combine their shared passion to create an acoustic show based on the repertoire of this icon of North American folk music. This is how Daniel Lizotte (Deadlock - guitar, harmonica, lead vocals), Denis Viel (Songs of Mercy - pedal steel guitar, dobro accordion, vocals), Francis Leblond (Time it Was - bass, vocals) and Michel Roy (Kevin Parent - drums, vocals) came up with the Heart of Gold project. The show features an amalgam of songs from Neil Young's vast acoustic repertoire, plus acoustic versions of some of his more electric material. From Heart of Gold to Harvest Moon, Comes a Time, Southern Man and Like a Hurricane, Neil Young fans will enjoy a warm and convincing performance, delivered in all simplicity. A pure moment of happiness that's good for the heart and the ears! Tickets The Heart of Gold show will be presented on February 7, 2025 at the Cabaret de l'Amphithéâtre Cogeco in Trois-Rivières. Quatre musiciens chevronnés de Lévis, évoluant dans leur univers musical respectif et fans finis de Neil Young, ont décidé de marier leur passion commune pour créer un spectacle acoustique basé sur le répertoire de cet icône de la musique folk nord-américaine. Le spectacle offre un amalgame de pièces tirées du vaste répertoire acoustique de Neil Young, auquel s’ajoutent des versions acoustiques de quelques pièces habituellement plus électriques.
