Écrire Trois-Rivières : de l’encrier au numérique, 1870-2034 Trois-Rivières n’a pas une seule histoire; mais plutôt de multiples histoires fragmentées, découpées, égrainées. Depuis 2020, l’organisme Les Faiseurs d’histoire s’est mis en tête de rapatrier toutes ces histoires pour en produire une grande, complète et accessible pour le 400e de la ville en 2034. Or, ce n’est pas la première fois qu’on ait évoqué l’entreprise d’un tel chantier. Le conférencier Yannick Gendron propose de revenir sur l’historiographie trifluvienne pour suivre le parcours de cette idée d’une histoire locale globale et de ses déclinaisons à travers le temps Les Faiseurs d’histoire sont un groupe dédié à la recherche et à la mise en valeur de l’histoire trifluvienne. L’organisme sans but lucratif rassemble des historien·ne·s et amateur·trice·s d’histoire de différents horizons qui cumulent des dizaines d’années d’expérience en recherche, enseignement, mise en valeur et gestion du patrimoine local.
