Velours Velours est l’exutoire de Raphaël Pépin-Tanguay. Actif sur le circuit local depuis 2022, le projet a rapidement su se tailler une place de choix auprès des mélomanes québécois. Après avoir évolué sur scène aux côtés d’ Étienne Coppée, Velours Velours a récemment lancé son premier EP coréalisé avec Philippe Brach. La pop savoureuse et pleine de jeunesse de Velours Velours propose un univers coloré, réconfortant et aux possibilités infinies. Ses chansons aux grooves enjôleurs transportent à travers le quotidien et contemplent ce qui l’entoure, des ruelles de la métropole jusqu’aux eaux salées de la Gaspésie. Velours Velours fait partie de Nouvelle Radio-Canada en tant qu’artiste à surveiller en 2023, en plus d’avoir été récemment couronné du Prix de la fondation Socan donné à un jeune auteur-compositeur-interprète canadien.
