Beau Dommage, le groupe phare dont la musique a traversé les époques, fêtera le 50e anniversaire de la sortie de son premier album en 2024. À cette occasion, Productions Martin Leclerc, en accord avec les membres du groupe, annoncent une rencontre grandiose entre l’Orchestre Métropolitain et leur musique, dans une version symphonique de leurs plus grands succès. Onze interprètes prêteront leur voix à cet événement unique : Alexandre Désilets, Allyson Pétrin, Audrey-Louise Beauséjour, Audrey-Michèle, Coral Egan, David Latulippe, Franck Julien, Jules, Krystel Mongeau, Lyxé et Sophie Grenier. Ce concert de 90 minutes, intitulé Ça fait 50 ans qu’on se connaît, insufflera une nouvelle dimension à leur répertoire, en offrant les chansons que le groupe aura lui-même choisies, les incontournables bien entendu, mais aussi la version intégrale de Un incident à Bois-des-Filion, à coup sûr un moment fort du spectacle. Adam Johnson dirigera l’Orchestre Métropolitain pour l’occasion, tandis qu’Antoine Gratton signera les arrangements et la direction musicale. La mise en scène sera confiée à Michel Poirier. Le parolier Pierre Huet et le batteur Réal Desrosiers sont les conseillers artistiques du projet. Ça fait 50 ans qu’on se connaît célébrera une grande histoire d’amour intemporelle entre Beau Dommage et le public, si bien que 50 ans plus tard, plusieurs générations fredonnent toujours ses chansons.
